At Rofulab we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains plainly what data we collect, what we use it for and what rights you have over it. If you have any question, write to us at [email protected].
1. Data controller
- Controller: Rofulab LLC
- Registered address: 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #38084, Casper, WY 82609, USA
- Contact email: [email protected]
- Website: rofulab.com
2. Data we collect
We only collect the data you voluntarily give us through the contact form: name, email, the name of your business (optional) and the message you write.
We also collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics 4 — pages visited, approximate origin of the visit and device — but only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Analytics is denied by default until you accept.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your data solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote or start a commercial relationship. The legal basis is your consent when you submit the form, in accordance with article 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The same consent basis applies to analytics cookies, which you can accept or reject in the banner.
4. Retention period
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any commercial relationship arising from it. If the enquiry goes no further, we delete your data 12 months after the last contact, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not share your data with third parties without your express consent. The contact form is processed on our own server, hosted with OVH in France (European Union), and delivered to us by email. To protect the form against automated abuse we use Google reCAPTCHA, and for anonymous usage statistics we use Google Analytics 4 — both provided by Google, acting as a processor. You can read the Google privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. International data transfers
Rofulab LLC is a company registered in the United States, but the data you send through the contact form is stored on a server located in France (European Union) and is not transferred outside the European Economic Area.
The Google services used on this site do involve a transfer to the United States: reCAPTCHA, which protects the form against automated abuse, and Google Analytics 4, which only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission in July 2023, which is the mechanism covering those transfers.
7. Your rights
As the owner of the data, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data when it is no longer needed.
- Object to the processing or request that it be restricted.
- Request portability of your data in a standard format.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at [email protected] saying what you want to do. We will reply within 30 days at the latest.
8. Complaints
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, or that we have not properly attended to your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence. If you are in the European Union, the list of authorities is at edpb.europa.eu.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal changes or changes in our services. When that happens, we will change the last-updated date at the top of the document.
